Introduction

I was introduced to web development years ago. I was working at an education media company as a Technical Support Representative. The company was formally a book publisher, who published books supporting the college application process: search and selection, financial aid, etc.. They moved their data to the internet, making it interactive, and I supported institutions that licensed our data via our products and services on the web. I also learned how our data populated online documents, and what systems the products and services ran on.
